He is such a healthy looking dog. Is he pit mixed w/? Has he ever been aggressive to anyone/thing? Pits get a bad rap. My daughter Carry's a scar on her nose from an 8 week old puppy that bite her. IDK if she may have squeezed him when she picked him up or.. She was around 6 years and I never got another because of that. I just didn't want to take a chance.
@ShrekDawg
Thanks!!!!!! He is! And yeah, pit and lab and some hound (foxhound and beagle) and a couple other things like boxer and bulldog lol I’ll attach his DNA test I did

And nah. He did the typical puppy stuff like chasing the chickens and the cat at first but that was easily corrected. And he never intended to hurt anything. Just play. The only real thing is he used to be scared of some people but he would just back away majority of the time. He’s only growled like a couple times his entire life and both times were fear based and once he realizes it’s okay then he will stop. One time he didn’t realize it was a person at first cause it was so dark and they were carrying tons of stuff but he was fine once he realized it. He’s not really scared of people anymore thankfully. Or plastic bags.

He’s also barked at some horses from a distance once but he had never seen a horse in his life LOL
But no, he’s not the stereotypical “aggressive” or really aggressive at all. I’ve even had people on trails say they were scared at first when he ran up but then realized he loves everything and everyone. He just wants to play. Not dog aggressive at all. Not really… anything aggressive LOL he is great with kids, people, dogs, etc. He is a little bit scared of young kids especially with them running around so he will run away most of the time BUT! If they are sitting on the ground or in a stroller or something, he will come up and kiss them tons which my friend’s daughter finds absolutely hilarious and purposefully gets on the ground sometimes.

he is also great with older kids.
He also will literally come up to me with his chew toys, bones, etc. and put it in my lap. He wants me to hold it for him to get the optimal chewing angle.
He will also back off of animal parts that he finds if I tell him to.
He also will let the vet do anything he wants to him. As long as I am holding him. IDK what he would do if someone else took him in but I think he would still be fine.
He really is great!
Our last dog was extremely protective/aggressive, resource guarded badly, had to be muzzled at the vet, couldn’t do his nails, etc. so Brew has been a welcome change LOL not that our last dog was entirely bad or that I didn’t love him but he had issues LOL
Brew also listens much better LOL
His only thing is on the leash, he is reactive to dogs but NOT aggressive. He just wants to play with every dog he sees because I allowed that his whole youth LOL
He also HATES squirrels, chipmunks, bunnies, hawks, etc. and I’m also not entirely sure how he would do with a cat that wasn’t OUR cat…

but even then, he’s not intentionally trying to be mean, he just has an extremely high prey drive. But I think if I told him what was and wasn’t okay then he would listen.
Anyways, sorry for the HUGE novel but I’m sorry about your daughter being bitten!!!!!!
Brew is a great dog. Best dog I’ve ever had actually.
