Granny's gone and done it again

Yeah, and I got the bad news that I am millimeters from being diabetic. Husband had already ordered Xmas candy, so that haunts me.
I am still quite sick with acute bronchitis, and my head is pounding from the sinus infection. As usual, I am going to be still sick when the pills run out.
that sucks.

The guy that's harvesting the trees for us is really on the job!

Hubby and I went to Danville to order the chain link fence for the dogs. We took a load of boxes in my big truck, and carried them into the house. Started unpacking boxes in the kitchen. I can't believe how high up the cupboards are above the counters!
I always hated how sinks/counter tops are too low to suit me.

@CapricornFarm sorry to hear that you are under the weather. Bronchitis isn't fun. I usually get sinus infections that turn into bronchitis due to the sinus drainage. Do you do lavages for your sinuses using a nettie pot? DH and I both do them and they really help with the post nasal drip and allergies. It's unpleasant but after you get used to squirting all that water up your nose it isn't bad at all. And it does help.

My big problem is that I have both the IBS/C along with the diverticular disease. I was never really able to get any clear cut instructions from the GI specialist I saw other than, eat a lot of fiber. Wellllllll that is one of the things that causes the flares. The fiber needs are different from IBS than they are for diverticular disease. There are two types of fiber. Soluble and non soluble fiber. If you eat too much non soluble fiber, it can throw you into an IBS attack. I've been doing a lot of reading about it the last week and discovered that I was probably eating too much fiber. I was told 35-40 grams of fiber per day to prevent diverticulitis. For IBS though, I've recently read 14 grams for every `1000 calories consumed. I eat about 1500 calories a day so I should only be eating about 20 grams of fiber most of it being water soluble fiber.

My regular doctor and I are going to be having a long talk next week. I'm tired of my guts being sore and painful and either having the runs or not able to go.

@Granny Hatchet if you aren't having symptoms, consider yourself blessed. I've had symptoms of IBS since I was about 16. Ain't fun.
