Granny's gone and done it again

I've melted it in a pan of hot water but if there is ONE crystal left in the jar lid it will crystallize again very quickly. And even if you do completely melt it, around here it will still turn to sugar in a matter of days in those little bears. But they keep for weeks in the smoith jars you keep upside down. No humid air gets in.
do you have a picture of that jar

Yes. That's my Elijah.

I've had trouble with honey in glass jars crystallizing. The jar I have now has been good for about 6 months. Keep it in the same place in the kitchen. Back to me wondering about the quality of the honey.

Around here a lot of honey is sold in plastic containers, comb and all. There is a place on Rt. 63 that has a sign out that says they have local honey for sale. Might have to buy some and see how long it lasts.

@Cynthia12, pls don't hesitate to let us know what is happening. We're like a big old extended family here. We always know there is a sympathetic ear and a strong shoulder when life gets to be too hard for us to carry the load and we need to 'talk'. We share one another's health problems, tragedies, joys, grief. We might not have the answers but we have hearts that care and won't hesitate to lift your or your loved ones up in prayer. :hugs

This jar has been sitting on my counter for about six weeks and it is not sugared.

Thank you Granny. He's been making me crazy with that hair. It is chin length, very thick and curly, and he's just been letting it go wild except for church, letting it hang down like a mop in front of his face and I dassent say anything because he takes offense and growls at me. But TODAY, hallelujah, he decided he needs to be able to SEE when he shoots and so he tied it back! My heart is doing handsprings!
