I was surprised when they said my shoulder pain was being caused by my neck. Then doctor 'splained it to me. Pinched nerves in my neck can cause radiating pain to go down to my shoulder and down my arm like lightning bolts. Once had a bad whip lash injury from an auto accident. My eye wouldn't stop watering and I had a headache on the left side of my head, the same side as the eye that wouldn't stop streaming. When I went to the doctor he said the headache and streaming eye was coming from nerve damage in my neck.
I've come to hate nerves.
Shouldn't be that painful to have the steroid/lidocaine injections if the doctor does it right. I thought having my shoulder injected would be super painful. Nope and when they put in the nerve block for my arm when they rebuilt my shoulder they injected up near my neck. The human body is a wondrous thing.
