We have ours locked that way too. If there is a charge over X amount of dollars we have to call and notify them. Otherwise they 'watch' our spending and if anything unusual pops up we get the fraud alert. The biggest charge we saw was for like 199 dollars. That's one heck of a UBER ride.Good afternoon All. I have declared this to be a do nothing that is not necessary day. I slept until 10:30! and am not motivated to do anything but sit here and drink coffee. MC I'm sorry you are having to deal with the aggravation of fraud. I have set an alert on my card so if it is charged more than a certain amount the company alerts me.
About 12 years ago, I got hit for 10,000 dollars. Somebody bought a diamond tennis bracelet in Texas. They asked me if my husband had bought me an early Christmas gift and I said if he had and had spent 10,000 dollars on it he was dead man walking. A year before that DH got hit again for 16,000 dollars on of all things, a trip to Paris France. He was with a different company than I was at that time and he had to jump through so many hoops proving his innocence that he wound up kicking them to the curb. We had to provide proof he was in the office that week, how many patients he saw and how much money he made. Like, seriously? So much for being innocent till proven guilty. He finally got them to admit that he wasn't in Paris that week and they cleared it up but it was a real headache.
Chase has their faults but they have always been good to work with if you get hit.
Well, Pupscicle is asleep....finally. I can sure tell when she is tired. She gets wicked wild then suddenly just collapses and goes to sleep. Till she does that though it's a real romp.
