We had chicken parm tonight. Just frozen chicken patties with red sauce from a jar and mozzarella on top, baked till hot, nothing fancy. I ate mine on a bed of rice and found it ... satisfactory. Hard to cook from s wherlchair. I can put a little weight on this leg but I sure don't trust it.

We had angel hair pasta with homemade Marinara sauce and fried apples for supper. There was enough left for 2 meals that went into the freezer for another day.

Sent Melissa to WM for a few things since we'd not been sble to get out to go shopping Sunday. The store is stripped, she said. There is no bread, no lunch meat, no cheese. Lots of empty shelves. And another storm a-coming!

You guys are getting another storm? Umm....hope WE'RE not getting another storm. Guess I'd better watch the weather tomorrow. All I saw on line was a chance for snow showers on Sunday.

I made hamburgers and hand cut fries for dinner tonight. Comfort food. But you guys really come up with some good ideas for meals!

Tomorrow I'm going to have to catch up with your orchid thread, Blue. I'm serious about trying to grow another one this spring.

I think we have another storm coming ... I know part of the country has, part that's still digging out from the previous. I THINK we're in it ... darn now I have to go search. BRB.

No, an arctic blast predicted for Friday and Saturday with wind chills expected to be below zero, and snow flurries possible both days but no accumulation anticipated. Just brutally cold! The storm is headed for the NE states.
