Granny's gone and done it again

Been sitting here for a couple hrs. now I guess. Going to KY. later. Robert just rolls out of bed and says" lets go!" WTH, I don't think I was ever like that. I told him no, I need a couple more hrs at least.
Pa is the same way! He then wants to know why we don't have a snack or a drink when we are on the road. Well, if you had given me a minute I might have fixed it! He is not as bad about it as he used to be. I still get everything ready the night before a trip so all I have to do is fix the drinks. I try not to schedule appointments until late morning or early afternoon to give me time to get there.
Safe travels, Granny. Who is driving?

I'm the same way, Iris, never schedule anything before 10 a.m.! This old gal is not, never has been, never will be an early riser. DH wakes up at 6 a.m., ready to rock and roll and face the day while I'm still prying my eyes open and wondering why morning has to come so early!

Poor Twist. I can just imagine. I'm worn out chasing one down and that one has a broken ankle. She's still staying ahead of me!

Finally got the groceries put away. We buy a month's worth the first of every month so it takes team effort and about 3 hours from start to finish, going up to Kirksville to get them picked up, back home and unloaded then the meat broke down into servings and everything put away.

Glad I only do it once a month.

@WhatsUpDuck our cat that we lost two years ago to cancer had bad urinary problems. No fun. There is a gel we used to get for him called Uri Ease made by Nutri Vet that we got from Chewy. The only problem we had with the urinary formula of cat food is that he got to the point where he wouldn't eat...which pretty much nullifies the benefits.

@BigBlueHen53 I'm not a morning person either. Always worked 2nd shift. Went to bed at 1 got up at 8 or 9. Get up at 7 now but it's like, don't ask me anything important till my heart rate comes up and my level of consciousness improves. DH? Up at 5 and ready to face the day.

Done at eye dr. No infection, so no ABX needed. Continue w warm compresses and she's ordered me an ointment to put in every night that should help. Ooh, also an eye mask I can heat in the microwave, can't wait to try THAT out tonight!
