Granny's gone and done it again

Its infected because the Dr cut it off, ripped it out from under the bed and put acid under there so it couldn't grow back
I had an ingrown toenail that was getting infected and was very painful. I was very grateful when my podiatrist cut out the infected and ingrown part clear back to the nailbed and did whatever he had to do to the nailbed to make sure that part of the nail could never grow back. It was sore for a few days till it healed but has never given me any more grief. A doctor will never do anything to CAUSE infection, only to cure it, even if doing so causes temporary pain.

I'm afraid it is worse. I'll PM you the medical information, it won't mean anything to the non-medical friends here. For all you non-nursing friends in plain language he has bulging disc that press in on his spinal cord in several places. Hopefully the neurologist will be able to do something about it.
Sounds like what I had in my C spine. When the surgeon saw my MRI, he says, wow, look at that big ol blown disc! I had more than that one. Showed me the areas of where I had them pressing on my spinal cord. More under the area that I got surgery for, but the surgeon said let's just do this for now. It was such a relief of pain. The surgery itself was hard, but worth it.
I have a son that had them in his back. Same thing where the disc's were pressing on the spinal cord. Had surgery. Doing better.
Maybe Larry can get his resolved with surgery.
Let us know what they decide.

They listen, I am sure!
Nah, not the Alexa, but the phones for sure! My son and I had been talking one day about something. Next day I'm getting all of these ads on my phone. I say ..hey Austin, I'm getting all of these ads since you and I were talking about it. He says..yep. This happens when your phone is on and sitting nearby. Or in your pocket. Or in a purse sitting close by. Crazy.
The only thing Alexa has picked up on is when I've ordered something and it is the one that gives me notifications on when something is arriving that day, will let me know when I may be running low on an item and asks me if I want to reorder. It doesn't just pop up and talk. A green light gets you know it has info for you.

He wears diabetic socks and he doesn't have any toenails to cut. He keeps them down to where there's no white left
So sad. My sister had really bad problems with her feet too from her diabetes. My brother now has Diabetes too. He walks a lot. Helps with his feet, but he says he still has problems.
Diabetes sucks.
Thinking here that Robert has diabetes?

@Rambling Iris I've taken care of sick people snd have more thsn a smattering od medical knowledge, just for curiosity's sake I would be interested in knowing Larry's dx if it wouldn't be violating sny hippa laws? Who knows, maybe someone I know may have the same thing some day. 🤷🏽‍♀️

I've have ingrown toenails, again. I've had both big toes done twice. There is one area that keeps coming back up. They've put that stuff in there, jabbed it in, but that piece keeps growing back. When it grows out long enough, I get the toenail wet, get my little plyers and pull that thing out.

If I can ask another question about my little pullet ... now that she's had this issue with the retained egg ... is this more likely to happen again? Is she more likely to prolapse? And should I keep giving her calcium tablets for a while? The egg was not small like a little pullet egg, it was almost the size of a regular egg. I will weigh it tomorrow and take pics.

Night Granny. Headache. Low BP again. I'd rather it be high. Easier to handle with meds. I'm eating green olives to try and get it up.
Oh..another thing on toenails. My handicapped sister had Diabetes. When mom was alive she had to keep taking her in for her toenails. They finally just took all of them off. Well, no more pain.
