there was several on both sides. Fatty tumor? Probably but not sure.

I had one the size of a man's thumb removed. Was causing pain. Dr. was quite worried, but then when he saw it he kept saying, it looks good, it looks good! I was put yo sleep lightly at first, then awake once it was numb. He stopped them strolling me out to see it in the pan..lol. Again, says it looks good! Have to send it to the lab but I'm not worried. I had seen this dr. for years.

I know many find it odd, but I don't do "preventative" tests. I'm not going to take the treatment anyways so..

I really find it more sad that children get cancer so easily...this world is very toxic.

I'm thinking I'm old enough that it's according to what type of cancer I get..if I do get it..I won't do treatment.

Nurses deal with irritable patients every day. It's part of the job. People with chronic health problems, are in pain, sick, or whatever it doesn't matter. You grow a thick skin and smile your way through it. Go home at night, toss back a couple of beverages of choice, take a hot shower, scream into your pillow (or cry into it). Get up the next day, put on your scrubs and do it again because of your dedication and desire to help your fellow man.

Please, if there is a next time, don't hesitate to pull the caregiver aside and tell talk to them They don't want to be part of the problem they want to be part of the solution.

I didn't wear anything perfummy at work with my elderly patients. If that's a word.

Time for a nap. I think. Last I looked at the clock last night it was 2.
Bronwyn is off to Nevada to help with cleaning a home of her Grandmother's brother that passed away. Austin is home with the kids..and me.
Oh, have to share. I was seriously considering a trip with them in May. Only a 3 hr drive there. Dinosaurs. Its pretty awesome to see a huge wall of dinosaur bones and other museums. Been a few times with the littles in past years, now it's time for my little to take his littles.
Reminds me of my Scott. Anyway, my dogs. What would I do with my dogs? Pretty sure my Mindi would take them. She has 2 small..older dogs. But. I know my Cooper. He would freak out at night in a kennel. So, kids are going to think of something I can do for just a day.

Morning all, IDK what time Nancys coming. She said early. I just crawled out of bed at 8:30 and sipping my first cup of liquid joy. Still have to get dressed and do all the basics.

When we were going to the cancer unit it seemed like most of the patients were older then us. There was a children's hospital there as well, but still, I was surprised how many elderly people get cancer

Why does that surprise you? Cancer is a disease of your immune system not being to keep up with the rogue cells.
Aging is part of it. What surprising is the amount of young people that have it.

The tax letter I got is going to be a hot mess. Many words and questions I don't understand. Has to be notarized too.asking for death cert. and will and if there isn't a will Indiana rules are followed concerning all his children..

Tax letter? The house doesn’t just stay in your name?

No swelling the same and now deep bruise over the whole area I tried to see if I could just do Tylenol last night. No. I woke up with Pain around midnight.

h2oratt, enjoy your steak! I'm glad you are feeling a little better. Take those pain pills as long as you need them, they help you relax so your body can heal.
Cynthia12 what do you want to do? Can you think of something that would be enjoyable for that day? Maybe a visit from a friend.
I'm headed to the kitchen to fix a little lunch and maybe bake some cookies. Pa has requested lemon sugar cookies. I'll make enough to put some in the freezer. BBL
