gobsmacked, I think is the word. That takes me to August. And I have chicks coming in June.
Yes that's what I thought too.I think, by the reading I was doing she has a small concussion.
That sounds really hard. I'm sorry you are going thru it. So how are you supposed to use a walker while only using one leg? Crutches or a riding chair sounds better. You should ask your Dr. to write one for you.So the intake lady for PT just left and went over my orders with me. I'm to be non-weight bearing for 8 weeks. I can touch my toe to the floor but that's it. She says I must use the walker to get from recliner to wheelchair, it's dangerous to use two canes as I've been doing. There's a lot more yada yada but, in 6 months I can return to normal activities "as tolerated." I feel a little bit ...gobsmacked, I think is the word. That takes me to August. And I have chicks coming in June.

Yes, she took a tumble down her stairs.Oh no did Nancy have a bad fall?
Our chicks are LORD willing come in August from Meyer! We might hatch some of our own too..and I am getting pullets from our breeder we got our flock from..this summer is looking busier and busier! I want to plant a very early spring garden this year to!!
For the breeds we wanted that was the soonest I could have them delivered.Yes, she took a tumble down her stairs.
Why aug.? Seems a long was off.
I learned to use a walker one-legged last year when it was my right leg that gave me problems. You take a step forward with the good foot, then support your weight mostly on your hands and arms while moving the lame foot foreard. It's way more stable than crutches. That sounds really hard. Was that intended for me or for Duck? Aug for me becsuse it's going to take six months for this leg to heal and strengthen. Why aug.? Seems a long was off.
Well....that sucks....So the intake lady for PT just left and went over my orders with me. I'm to be non-weight bearing for 8 weeks. I can touch my toe to the floor but that's it. putting your weight on one leg might be why the other was broken too. Ask me how I know....I learned to use a walker one-legged last year when it was my right leg that gave me problems.
