They make a skimpler one that is just the part that supports your lower leg without the handlebars or baggage carrier. I saw a clerk at a pharmacy use one when she broke her lower leg or ankle someplace. Thing looked very cool and moved super easy. You just walk with your good leg and let the little cart support your other leg.

It was a three or four wheeled model.

putting your weight on one leg might be why the other was broken too. Ask me how I know....

I was not putting weight on only one leg when my left one got this little crack or whatever in it. I was walking around perfectly well on both legs like a regular humsn bean!

If I used something like this, my weight would be on my knee, which we do NOT want. The injury is at the top of my shin bone. This thing would be perfect for a foot or ankle injury though.

Got two broody hens. One is the same one that is in youtube broody hen video, Mocha. I keep telling them, no more chicks. Guess I'll have to break out the broody buster cage.

Got to play with my boys in the rooster pen today. 5 Niederrheiners that are about 4 months old. I can sit down and they will all gather around my feet. Mos of them will still allow me to pick them up. They bunk with Fric and Frac. Those are frizzled feathered bantam red Cochins that were supposed to be Cinnamon Queen pullets. It's funny watching them take a treat and putting it down and calling over a Niederrheiner cockerel that is 4 times their size.

Our chicks are LORD willing come in August from Meyer! We might hatch some of our own too..and I am getting pullets from our breeder we got our flock from..this summer is looking busier and busier! I want to plant a very early spring garden this year to!!

How early can you start planting? We usually start in late March, early April for summer harvest and plant a fall crop in July for September/October harvest. This year I'm planting cabbage, brocclli and cauliflower for fall harvest because there will be fewer bugs.

I can plant about half way through March.
I want to do broccoli, kale, spinach, and peas! It may not work But I have the seeds so why not try!
