Do they still make light bulbs that throw heat?

Yeah. I just bought some 'Edison' type light bulbs that are incandescent that I used in the coop over the colder part of the winter to heat it a bit. Have to admit they kept it warmer than I thought they would.

They are becoming hard to source, but not yet impossible.
We are al supposed to be saving the planet by using "environmentally friendly" bulbs. Say the people who are running airconditioning 24/7 to those of us who live with ceiling fans only.

Oooh, hmm thats probably more affordable, ill have to look that up, if I can get this batch safely hatched in whatever I throw together I'd love to make a more permanent one.
