Granny's gone and done it again

I went to a few doctors this week. One being the Audio and ENT. Yes, my left ear has lost a lot of hearing, My right ear some. I need hearing aids. I keep saying..what..to my kids. I'm sure they're tired of it. Sometimes I let it go, then when I ask later a question on the subject, they Sometimes think I've forgotten. Nope. Just didn't hear it right.
4,000 dollars for a decent pair of hearing aids. Insurance won't pay. :(
Bronwyn's mom and dad have the fancy ones, blue tooth and all. Music when they want it. 7 grand.
I'm going to have to wait and save if I get some, unless I can make payments.
Go to Costco for the hearing aids 1700. 3 year warranty and replacement. I have had a very good experience there. On my second set.and these are the fancy ones. Blue tooth. Charge in their case.

I just set the eggs in the bottom half of an egg carton to hatch. No rolling around.
I'd do that but my incubator is a Brinsea eco and round. I usually just put some rubber no skid shelf liner on the bottom and then the eggs on that. I have the feeling that even if I cut up an egg carton they would just knock them over. The incubator is like a 12 egg limit on the turner but in reality it's more like 10 due to the limited space.

Brinsa is supposed to be the best isn't it? Only 10 eggs kinda sucks. Do you get a good hatch rate? I would rather have one I can adjust the way I want. My favorite add on I guess was the meat thermometer. The stem laid right next to the top of the eggs and thru one of the many holes that the Styrofoam came with.

Im not going to be any help here Duck. I read everything including the reviews. You have to ASK for a warranty. They make it sound good . Battery back up is something you don't normally see but if you lose power the machine starts back at day one making me think the turner may not be turned off at will? Save the packing material in case it wont hold temps.? And my favorite was the water well, slides open to fill sounds nice too but your not going to be able to fill it all the way because;have you ever tried to slide a container full of water w/o spilling it? The cord also comes out in the front. If all the bells and whistles work good then its a heck of a deal but frankly I don't trust it. Shew! and there's my review of something Ive never seen before so take it w/ a grain of salt.

Oh heck yeah, I had great hatch rates 98-100% with it. I bought a manual egg turner from Brinsea for it (which I had to modify to get it to fit so the top would engage properly) and I'd have to look at it but to hatch large eggs it would only accommodate 10. Nope, wrong. It will only hold 7 regular sized eggs with one base and 12 quail eggs with the other. I could get 9-10 bantam eggs in it but couldn't use the manual turner. A great little incubator but that is the problem with it-it's little and I could never leave a chick in it till it was 100% fluffed because of the size restriction. I can't imagine trying to hatch more than 3 duck eggs in it.

DH asked me when he bought if or me for Christmas one year if I was sure that I wanted one so small and I said yeah, if I got a bigger one I'd be saying...oh look, there's room for more eggs! And be up to my eyeballs in birds. I redefined Chicken Math.
