Granny's gone and done it again

I had to be around 7 when the family went to Pennsylvania to visit my dad's family. His sister's husband, my favorite uncle, worked at Palmer's Chocolate factory and one afternoon he took my brother, our dad and me there. So many years ago but I can still remember how 'busy' the place was-all the machinery and noise and the wonderful smell of chocolate. Our uncle disappeared and returned shortly with two big paper grocery bags all filled with individually wrapped chocolates-the type they sell around Easter. One for each of us. Talk about a kid's dream come true, that certainly was.

Thats the one chocolate I don't really care for but being there and getting all that? It would be a dream come true.

Ostrich, squid, anyone?
Both were good, both were less rubbery than usual in other places.
The other foods were delicious as well.

I've had octopus. It was very tough. Couldn't chew it.If I remember right I didn't like the flavor.

Loving a good bone!

I make a "low" carb dessert by taking 1tbs of melted coconut oil with 2 tbs of peanut butter and about a table spoon of truvia sugar blend and 1tsp of cocoa powder, and mix it altogether until the peanut butter is melted, and pour it over frozen sliced strawberries. It is one of my favorite desserts!! I eat it at least every other day usually!!

A couple years ago when we lived on top of a hill, a tire with a rim in it got away from me and rolled down our yard, across the road behind someone's house and set of the neighborhood dog's into a frenzied barking. I couldn't roll it up our yard bank so I rolled it down the road, around the gas station and up the hill along the road. An embarrassing adventure as I recall
