Granny's gone and done it again

No unless you are a big business you don't have to have a license. I will be keeping the egg bites and egg quiche on ice though to keep them cool.
My daughter sells sourdough bread and it sells very well! She is trying a new flavor chocolate chip. It is VERY yummy. I love sourdough bread 🤓
Wish you were close so I could come buy some from you.

If I know Iris she worked her fingers to the bone taking care of all the family that came to help her! I imagine she did six times the cooking and baking and serving and cleaning-up-after that she normally does! Now she has to rest up from all the help she had, lol!
You know me to well! My daughters both made me sit more than usual. Bossy little girls! (ages 52 and 54)

I like the bird of paradise but I don’t know if they grow up north
I love these plants too. Here is some information I found.
Bird of paradise plants thrive outdoors in warm, frost-free climates (USDA Zones 10–12), where they can be grown year-round as perennials. In cooler zones, they should be grown in large pots that can be moved indoors during winter freezes or planted in sunny, protected spots during the growing season.

Light and Temperature

  • Provide at least 6 hours of direct sunlight daily for optimal growth and blooming, though in hotter climates, afternoon shade is necessary to prevent leaf scorch.
  • The plant grows best when temperatures stay between 65°F and 70°F (18–21°C) during the day and 50°F (10°C) at night; it can tolerate brief dips to 24°F (-4°C) but will suffer heavy damage below this threshold.
  • Strelitzia reginae (orange flower) generally requires full sun to bloom, while Strelitzia nicolai (white flower) tolerates light shade and can grow much taller (20–30 feet).

My mama was here just last week. And I could hardly get her to sit down!! She gets so upset if I don't "let" her do anything..dishes,laundry, making beds...I just want her to relax and enjoy her grandchildren, but she won't have it!
It probably makes her heart happy

One of those nights where what don't hurt don't work so I'm calling it a day also.

Went out to check the bird's water and to my surprise one of my tiniest bantam hens had gotten out of the run and was down by the barn. She's a sweetheart and when she saw me ran up to me and looked up at me making me feel like a giant next to her tiny one pound body. I asked her if she knew that she wasn't supposed to be out there tempting fate and the foxes. She sang me a little song like yes she knew but the grass really was greener on the other side of the fence and she was fine. I picked her up and carried her back where she belonged no worse for the wear. Sometimes they just do something that really tugs at your heart strings.

Night all.
