So much sadness and bad news.

Very sorry to hear about your friend, granny. What type of chicken did you bring home? Smell your chicken feed. If it smells sour or musty, you got bad stuff. Did you dose the youngsters with corid? It won't hurt them if they don't need it.

And Papa, how tragic to lose a baby and the mother. Heartbreaking.


But one happy thing is little Tibbit. Any more pics, Twist?

I dont smell a thing. But, my sniffer isnt very good. Just now seen another serama on its side crying. I gave them sugar water with electrolytes in it and moistened the food. now they are all eating. Last 2 pics. are My polish babies. they are growing.

Be nice to see what that rooster looks like when he's doing better. Not sure whats wrong with his feathers, but he may have quill mites. Pretty sure my wyandotte had that, but I didn't know what it was. Wasn't until after she died that I saw a post about it, from Two Crows. Pour on ivermectin was the cure.

Grumpus' feathers grew in like this after a molt.

I tried but my memory card was full so a lot of great pics I thought I had taken didn't get saved.

Granny my exbat hens had feathers like that. After they molted their feathers grew back normal. I think it was a nutrition issue, for me. But they also had super bad lice that I treated with sevin dust, so maybe both.

and can't even find out where in the camera it is to pull out and check.
