Looks like Mr. Orp could crush your Polish and Campine. Big boy!

Thanks did you see my polish? I have a white and a we lack. White one is dingy as heck.

I did ! I have the same white one but much worse then yours. It is a pretty mud color now. hahaa they are made smaller then the others . Did you notice ? The black one looks show quality from what I can see.

I doubt mine are show quality. I got them from a hatchery

very pretty Wishing. I have heard internal layer was a death sentence. what happens there ?
The ova don't make into the egg-making tube, but get "laid" into the abdominal cavity. Collect there and form a mass that eventually causes internal infection. Not a pretty way to die.

its hard to find a black one with a pure white top. I dont see any stray black feathers in there. her stance looks good feathers healthy. If she isnt , she is close or I really need glasses.

so theres an abnormal opening in the abdomen ? A birth defect ?

No, it's like with people, the egg gets released and has to cross a bit of a no man's land to get to the fallopian tube.

Instead of Fallopian tube, it's the Infundibulum. (say that 10 times fast!!

If it misses the oviduct, yolk will just be lost in the abdomen.
