I think probiotics would be better than ACV. We even had a problem with one chick that hatched out under a broody. This child wanted the Seramas, so he was in charge of butt cleaning! (2 yrs ago)

I've checked my girl for mites, etc. and she doesn't have any of those issues. Will pasty butt make them pluck their hind feathers? I've been noticing since yesterday that they're getting rather thin back there... but she's always had dirty hind feathers.
