I cant climb a ladder or they all would be canned by now.

not good for me then (highly allergic) in fact I don't even dare fill the chicken waterers because of all the bee's/wasps crowing them for water. My eppey pen is way past used by date and over 30 miles to nearest ER room.

DH butchered my 4 young cockerels yesterday. He just skinned them. We were going to feed to the dogs.
He did fry up the heart, liver and gizzards for himself.
He went camping on the delta last night and needed to bring a hobo stew. ( he is scout master)
He decided to use the chicken parts instead of hamburger. Texted me last night and said it was delicious.

I think we have a sustainable food source. I guess young cockerels are tender.
Hmm wonder if I should start hatching some more eggs. Guess I will throw one in the crockpot and make coq au vin.

I guess he is a keeper.

LOL go big or go home. I know for sure it's 100 feet wide but can't remember the length. woven horse fence 5 1/2 feet high with 2 x 6 boards on top and bottom that the fence is stapled to. ( the fencing type of staples) wire is stretched so nice and tight. NO coopers droop in my fence.

you know how they tilt barbed wire on top of the fence ? Thats so climbers cant climb. That would stop cats I think ?
