I got sucked into an old movie. Chatterbox, 1936. It's got 20 minutes left, then I'll go see. I need to check the buckling, too. He was a little dramatic after his banding yesterday.

Wed is late start day here, one hour. Time for teacher meetings and planning and such. Other school district had same thing on Mondays, but they got out early instead of starting late. #2 likes sleeping in better. Now they have the first Wed of the month start 2 hours later. #2 really looks forward to hump days!

Who needs roosters when you have very LOUD screaming hens??? This morning it was Buster, the huge Orp, who is usually fairly quiet, screaming her head off, even when she saw me coming. Didn't see it until I called her a bunch of unflattering names, but there was a cat up on the fence that set her off. Too bad chickens are so chicken!
