maybe you could approach it by saying "honey if you got me a stove/oven for Christmas It would be extra special and save my from stressing out if we could stick  it in tonight"  

I swear to God he isn't getting me a stove for Christmas lol

Yes, at the hospital. when I had the brain CT, they called me before I even made it home!

That does seem odd Mutt, do you have a followup appt. that they might be waiting to talk to you at?

No follow up. I just wish I had an all clear, or it's something simple. It kinda nags at me every day. I'll know soon enough I suppose.
