how many chickens do you have ?

Currently 31 chickens 10 ducks. Will go up in a few months, via broodies and an incubator. Only my bantams, kelsos and my am roo are from private breeders, hatched out most of the rest under broodies this last year, only have 6 chickens from a feed store, closest real tsc is about 1 1/2 hours away.

Rope burns are some of the nastiest injuries I have had from fooling with horses. Are your leads nylon? I refuse to use anything for leads other than cotton, heavy duty, thick cotton.....

I got this weird egg a day or two ago. I candled and it's not cracked. I think it's from the cochin, her second or third. Her first one I found in the run.

Thanks enola, stupid stupid me had just taken my gloves off to mix feeds before I went down the field Just didn't think and didn't put them back on!
They are cotton ropes but not the thickest ones. These two horse are friends horses who I fetch in for, we have a rota and work it between us. I drew the short straw today

These are by far the worst rope burns I have ever had Feels like my other fingers are shrivelling up too as they have gone shiny tight.
