I must have typed it wrong?? I couldn't stand to part with her? Just wondering how shed fair with her little flock? And why she's so dang SMALLAlisan, i am not 100% sure what you want when you say you cant have it with you.? it sounds like it got an injury a while back and should have been splinted but more then likely has healed back by now. so she will be a ground bird and thats ok, give her a little house on the ground she can sleep in at night inside the coop. make sure feeders and water are low enough for her to reach. thats about all i can think of from the top of my head. anyone else??
do they usually make it to 5-6 weeks? She's such a Lil fighter and thinks she can do want the bigger ones can. She can also flat scoot if she thinks it vitamin time. Lol. I was a nurse and when I got her the leg was just frozen I've done range of motion on her (which she also hates) and she has improved by 30%? Just new to the chicken keeping and wondered if I was doing right by her?she may have what is called failure to thrive. it would account for the small size. not much you can do there except good diet vitamins and wait and see. sometimes they dont live long
