they gave me a big dose during surgery, i dont know how much then its been 35 mg. a day since then. i took 20 today. will try 10 tomorrow . i always take 2.5 every day for the past 15 yrs. or so. i will call dr. monday but i probably will be done by then or close anyway

Granny, how long have you been taking the steroids and what dose? You're not supposed to abruptly stop Prednisone, but titrate down. You might want to call your doctor before stopping it.

do you know by how much each time or for how many days before a change is made?
i dropped 15 today and was planning on another 10 tomorrow but i dont have many

I would call my doctor first, but would drop about 5 mg a day until I got back to my 2.5 mg every day. Are you planning on stopping the low dose of 2.5 mg everyday too? Definitely call your doctor if you plan on stopping it all together.

no, I will stay on the 2.5 thank you so much. i didnt have enough to wait for monday at the dose they were giving me. You would think if they are going to mess with your hormones they would at least do it right. the 2.5 is for adrenal hyperplasia . 15 yrs. on prednisone. or more i took a break for a while. see where thats gotten me. deteriorated bones enough for the tendons to pop off easy

I paused on men 12 yrs. ago. no matter on the age. lol my son is allergic to feathers and hates the chickens so, ya ! perfect gift. hahaaa he doesnt seem to want anything except his games anyway. and a brownie mix. i cant do that right now. i will tell him, thank you

LOL, i do have this recipe i call it mississippi mud cake . its made in the 9x13 i dont use the walnuts because no one here can eat them and i make my own frosting. it is more of a milk chocolate then anything. and it is very good, makes a lot and i had totally forgotten about it. lol the frosting is made with powdered sugar, vanilla, peanut butter and milk. Twisted acres made my family and myself a boat load of fudge last yr. for Christmas and i have been trying to get some more off of him ever sense. LOL he made caramels, mint fudge, walnut. a ton of different flavors. Now that man can cook ! its not that i dont know how to make fudge i was just feeling down because i had asked every one in my family to make me some just because they loved me. to show they cared. the ONLY thing i got for Christmas was his fudge and it just made my week ! because thats about how long it lasted. haha you know, i dont care if its just a smiley face on a piece of paper it pleases me to know that you cared enough to think of me. and that was the first time in my whole life any man had mailed me something period ! i dont think he expected me to melt faster then the treats did because he is a good guy and just didnt expect me to feel like i did. To him it was a normal thing to do. I am way over that now Scott so no need for the big head. lol but it was very sweet and it made my Christmas. speaking of, i wish someone would get up and make me some breakfast. i am starving. lol

how much do jersey giants go for? i wanted a pullet and i found a place here that breeds them only. 15 per one unsexed chick. 80-100 for one pet only pullet 175 for show.

please provide more info on your disabled chick. are you wanting to put it down? what is wrong with it, any pictures? and

She's a silkie she gets around eats, but she can't scratch or roost. Her left leg is slightly contrcted
