Ohhh my goodness, it made a huge difference. I couldn't hammer it with a four pound sledge yesterday.. but it took minutes to get it in with the pole banger thingy...

Those pole banger thingys are worth their weight in gold, but I have to wear ear plugs! Sooo loud!

Looks like 2 of the Doms were early deaths , I had saw they were jiggly, but if the egg dont stank I jus hope for the best and leave em.

The last Leghorn to hatch didn't. It was a White one too. There was NO space for it in the shell, It was freaking huge. DIS

Only one RIR egg left, isnt moving though so IDK

Another quail is zipping so 14/16

I better not let Lil Twist hear that crowing. He is a pain in the butt as it is. that would be the last straw for Robert. LOL

Palmetto bugs are a type of roach. They can get 2-3 inches long. They like to gather in damp dark places. And they are very good flyers when they are not crawling on your ceiling or running up and down your walks. There are plenty of them in SC. My chickens didn't seem to care for eating them.

I will not miss palmetto bugs, fire ants or most of the people down there.......

You had a good hatch any way. white leghorn was probably turned wrong and couldnt pip.
