That chick was weak to begin with. curled toes and 3 days late dont make for a good chick.  no company for it and the constant chirping was a sign . failure to thrive. It happens. It didnt die because it drown. It died because it was too weak to pull itself out .
X2 probably just so happen to die and fall in the water. Heck I know I killed my silkie back then. It does hurt but everyone of us has had a chick die I'm sure. Whether it was our fault or not. Now my little sis ain't no quiter. You'll get through this. :hugs

Granny bigboy & early girl tomato plants grow 4 feet tall so they were good choices for your bucket garden. Homestead & rutgers are heirloom determinate types that will alsp grow in buckets.

smack some ice cubes on them eyes . then scream really loudly like its the ice causing it.

I know why you feel bad. Same reason I dont think I want eggs from anyone on here. Its not your fault. PO is to blame here.

Jane ! Thank you. I didnt pick that kind because they do good in buckets. Its just the kind I remember having before.

I put tobacco sticks in the buckets. only one each and they are up about 3 ft. But , I have them around the outside of the dog run /chicken run that I can tie to if they make it past that size. They are a little protected there.
