What's Aug 5th?

Ok: he/she has hatched and instead of drying and looking all fluffy she looks wet but isn't. The feathers are all stringy and feted to her skin. I know she must not of hatched properly. Maybe she was too dry when hatched. And she seems to have a bad foot. I know if she has a bad foot it isn't really meant to be that she survives (some would say) but I want to try and keep her alive and well if I can help it. She seems to have energy but just isn't happy cause her foot makes her uncomfortable or something. She keeps trying to wiggle around and get comfy. {I'm not sure if I'm making any since} is there anything to do for her foot or to help her get fluffy or to make her more comfortable?

did you use an incubator ? I am guessing yes. the humidity was off a bit and it is a sticky chick. you can rinse it off in warm water but thats not really hurting the chick. thats up to you. As far as the foot. it depends on whats wrong. splay or spraddle leg is fixable .
Wishing, Do you have the podiatry link ?
