DH is headed back to Lafayette tomorrow to bring more supplies and I was supposed to go with him, but I think I might just stay home. My coop desperately needs cleaning.

I like the deep litter. I am not doing it like your supposed to. I am still adding after all this time. never removed.

Everything is sour and wet from rain. The juvies are breaking eggs and pooping in the nests. Boards needs scraping. I started but didn't finish. Otherwise I would just add hay and call it good.

I should say Im talking about the run. The coop gets cleaned out and nest boxes. Not as often as they should im sure. I have wood floors inside the coops.

Same. My coop is raised, but 60 soaking wet birds make a mess.


what kind of litter do you use?
wait... You have had more than usual rain... Oops. Yeah. The moisture makes it stink!


I have hay in the camp coop and shavings in the hona coop.
