Helpful hint.
If you need to open a bird up again in the future, it's best to just cut along each side of the spine to open it up and then you don't have to worry about cutting up the breast meat to get to the innards.

I wasn’t concerned about her meat that’s why I went in sternum vs spine.

Ok, I answered some of those posts too!...looked like there was a piece of plastic or a beetle in her droppings.

I believe that is the liver, looks pale to me but I haven’t autopsied birds.
