I have been reporting back with LaFleche.

Yes, she is much better as a Miracle did occur for her.
I just took pictures for this week before I sprayed Bku-kote and use a triple antibiotic oint to keep the scar tissue moist. Therefore, she is now able to turn her head to both sides to preen her new feathers. Her face on both sides are still bald but is growing feathers and I don't know or care if she can hear since her head was scalped and mangled. From what I can tell, she can see.
Her scalp has re attached and her back and shoulders remain bald but the other feathers cover the bald spots.
She remains on my porch that has fine screening to keep the flys/bugs out in her XL bird cage & XL dog crate joined together. She is enjoying her days with her BF Becky, a Silver Laced Polish with wild hair.
It is now 5 weeks into her convalescence and the two of them will be moving into their newly built "Polish Girls Only" coop with an enclosed run after her wounds are completely healed without scabs. I will never integrate with the Big Girls. My thoughts of intregrations were squashed after I had the Big Girls out and the screen door on my porch opened. The two " Gang Leaders" rushed in and BeeLined straight for my two Polish Girls inside their crates! I grabbed the bullies and put them out with a stern scolding. Did it work? Of course Not!! Lol
For now on, I will keep their head feathers trimmed or pulled back to allow for visual acuity.
After all of this, I have been able to help others on BYC with ER care.
LaFleche suggested I rename her from Punkie to "The Iron Maiden". She is one tough lil Polish Girl Chicken.
