I tried the zip ties a while back. You need to keep an eye on them as the leg keeps growing. I ended up cutting them off.

All of the 9 survivers are still alive and doing well.

I am going to use yarn and super glue, it will have give to the yarn, easy to remove, cheap and I have tons of it. Going to super glue the square knot so it won't accidentally untie.

I processed one of the slips yesterday, and man oh man did that one teste left inside went into overdrive making up for just having one.

The slips I've processed have had weird white lumpy things in that spot...

This guy had one huge teste, and one tiny completely round like a BB. I figured the BB one was a tiny piece "left behind" I wasn't going to do him until next week, but he started mounting the hens, so I did away w/ him early.

Your welcome. Are you wanting to learn to caponize? There are several contributors to this thread that have acquired good skills and are having quite a bit of success.
