Hmm. Those ones on Ebay are plastic and not meant to be reused. Assuming you could shorten the sleeve length, it's not clear how long they would hold up. Or how you would sterilize it for the next time.
In the meantime, I'm still trying to figure out how they control the loop position when it's inserted 7' into a colon, but that's off-topic

I take pieces of butcher's twine and tie the ends together and then use the loops to gently secure the the feet and wings with a simple hitch knot. I have a caponizing table made with an old camera tripod(it's in my photos section). I took mug hooks and screwed them into back of the table so that I have multiple places to make adjustments to small bungee cords that I hook through the loops of twine around the wings and the feet. That enables me to place enough tension to secure them without hurting them. I don't have a picture of a bird actually on the table, but I secure them diagonally on the table.

I made a Velcro type gograin ribbon type devise w/ loops along the length and secured those around legs and wings and secured to the table w/ a bungee cord. But I'm stealing poco's idea of elastic hair ties (bigger for the wings and smaller for the legs, and securing those to the table w/ small c clamps.

Mine is a small cage secured to a tall stool with a ratchet strap. Freezer paper (plastic side up) taped to the cage for a clean work surface. Then, soft paracord loops, from the legs of the stool up to the bird. I throw a larks head around the leg and wings, and then snug them with taut line hitches near the stool legs. It's really quick, the leg side stays stationary and the wing side is where I tighten. One size fits all.

wheres my Staples button?!
