Graphic Pics----Sick Maran Hen Please help!!!

I have a maran who has recently became skinny although she is eating. She laid a couple eggs approx. 2 months ago and then quit. She is blind suddenly and when I checked her yesterday I found this in her vent area. Thanks for any advice.

Hey that is even worse that what you told me on the phone I would take a cotton ball and some peroxide and dab to kill (infextion) dont know how to spell LOL! but that would have to be some type of infection!

She is blind and apparently very ill. Seems like this has been going on for a while. I would recommend a vet visit or putting her down especially if she is in bad shape. Maybe if this was caught sooner she could get healthy again but chickens are so good at hiding their illnesses you never know something is wrong until it's too late.
