Graphing egg humidity/weight loss

I've been using the system of weighing and charting a 13% weight loss over the incubation period, and I like its accuracy. I have had a problem that seems to throw everything off, though. When one of the 6 or 7 eggs I'm using as the control weights turns out to be a clear, do you remove it from the batch and then divide the total weight of the eggs by one fewer? Or just leave it in? Which brings up the question, do clears lose humidity at the same rate as the fertile/growing eggs? I took out a clear in one of my batches, and the results really seemed messed up after that.

Don't you weigh them all individually? That's what you should be doing as some might lose faster than others, so it's a good idea to know which to keep an eye on during hatching. Porous eggs will lose humidity much faster for example.

Non-developping eggs will lose humidity at the same sort of rate as they are sat in the same conditions as the others.

Hmm. What I read said to weigh a selection and average them, but of course you're correct that weighing them individually would be more accurate. I like it that the clears lose at the same rate and therefore don't mess up the average of the developing ones -- thanks!
