Mounts on a pic up truck? Not for backyard gardens, thanks for sharing.

I do not understand why this could not be used for backyard gardens. Does a pickup in the driveway make chickens stop enjoying grasshoppers. ( I am kidding.) Of course this is for backyard chickens. ANY landowner in Texas will let you haul off as many grasshoppers as you are able to catch. They are horribly destructive to crops, and they swarm in the millions. Your chickens will thank you for your efforts, and your eggs yolks will become rich and golden.

So true.

Since I am unable to build something like this myself, I am planning on moving a little chicken tractor to my garden area to let a couple of chickens cut down on the grasshopper population.
