I had a female African and a pair American Buffs live with my ducks for over 10 years and never had a problem with the geese being aggressive towards the ducks. I got new ducks along the way and none of the geese were ever aggressive towards the new birds. I got all 3 of those birds as young adults and I do not know if they were raised around ducks or not. I have some gray Saddleback Pomeranians now and I would NEVER put ducks in with them. The males are extremely territorial and I am quite certain would injure or kill ducks. In all fairness though they were not raised around ducks. I have no idea if this is a breed trait, gender related or is just those individual birds. My Buff African geese that I also have now are not nearly as territorial as my Pomeranians, but those birds were raised with ducks and a couple different age groups of goslings. So much with geese can just depend on how they were raised and individual temperament. You may be better off with female geese in the long run though as they don't tend to be as territorial as the males.
