I spoke with the folks at MPC to change my order - to more chicks of course!! The lady I spoke with was the most friendly customer service person I have ever dealth with. She was telling me stories of her chicks - EE's and Silkies - and how they were the first chickens she ever raised. She sounded very sincere, and assured me that the chicks would be shipped when I requested and she laughed when I told her I had everything ready. Brooder ready to go, and coop on order....I just don't have the time to build my own, so I ordered an Amish built one to be delivered 2 weeks after the babies arrive, which will still give me two weeks to get it ready for them to move in, since they arrive early May. It was all I could do not to have them shipped earlier, but with vacations planned, it's just not fair to them.
