It was a lovely day out side so I spent the day letting my girls and roo free range and little the 9 weeks old out for the first time.

Were the young and old ones loose together? How is that going?
 
The young ones were with the older ones but only while I was right there watching. The older ones were curious about them and gave them a few sharp pecks but for the most part didn't bother them. You have to remeber though they were out side oftheir pen with tons of room and no way for them to corner the chicks.
 
Corey, those pictures were beautiful, your birds look happy and content! I hope you enjoy your flock!
 
Beautiful birds in all that lush spring grass and woods....some of those 3-leaf plants look kinda like...poison ivy!

yesh I do think there was some poison ivy back there, that is why I had my tall boots on. Never really thought about it, can chickens get poison ivy?
