Great hatch form M&M2four's eggs Update with pictures

I was gone yesterday but when I got home I have two little Silkies out and two pips. This morning one of the little ones had zipped most of the way but had died in the shell. I had a third one hatch this morning and I have one more to go.

These eggs arrived in perfect condition but when candled there was air cell disturbance. While developing they had strange air cells that extended down the side of the egg. I have successfully hatched chicks from eggs like these before and these were no different.

Don't give up on eggs that have irregular air cells.

Sorry they are not very bright it is an overcast day and they were in the shade.

Congrats Jaynie on the new babies! I can't wait to see pics.

I got guinea eggs like that..with a lot of "bad" air cells and they still hatched too. I agree, don't give up hope too soon.

gosh those babies are darling! I love the little fluff on top of their head... silkies always remind me of some funny, cute critter out of a dr. seuss book!
