Great placr to be

:hugs How is she this morning? Sounds like you are doing all you can. She's a tough gal to last so long in her condition! Keep up with all you are doing and keep us posted. :hugs
I have been giving her the apple baby food. I think she is enjoying it. I'm giving her a little bit followed with some of the water. At first I could hear her insides gurgle which to me sounds like she's hungry. She's blind to begin with and one eye stays open but dilated. When this happen, it looked so different like it filled with horror. It was THE most sad thing ever. I feel its returning to what it looked like before. She's not breathing as hard and the twitching seems to be minimal. After I fed her I tried standing her up to see if she could stand on her own and it seems her left leg was not moving. Makes me think either its sore or something worse. The bruising I saw was on the right. All in all still not moving but alert and resting too.
Thanks again for all the support. We will keep thinking positive for her.

I am glad to hear she is feeling a bit better! ♥️ :hugs You are doing a fabulous job with her. Time will tell if something is dislocated, broken or just taking its time to heal. Just keep up with all you are doing, give her some lovin' for me! 😊 💞

You said she had puncture wounds, how are you treating those? Also I do not think I would bathe her unless absolutely necessary, that can be hard on a sick hen. She needs nourishment, can you soak some of her regular feed to make it like a soup and offer that in the syringe? What does her poop look like? Post a pic of the poop if you can.

Shes doing better! The baby food really seems to be helping. I got beef and the jar is pretty small so i just put it up to her face and she responded like she was hungry! Shes smacking her beaks but has problems eating it by herself. The pictures are of the leg or hip area on the side where she cant put all of her weight on. Do you know why the skin is yellow?

I had ointment that is blue. I put it on her day 1 and then read that the colored ointments are junk and it doesnt want to come off
She's moving around and not staying in the same spot. I wonder if I should try making one of those sling/slide things for her because of her inability to walk. Kinda hoping its just going to take time to heal

Kind of hard to tell what we're seeing there. Are the wounds scabbing over? The discoloration could be bruising. Are you keeping the wounds coated with antibiotic ointment like Neosporin so they won't dry out? Be sure to use the Original formula, that does not contain pain reliever, I understand the pain reliever is toxic to chickens. If she can't walk, how is she moving around?
