Last night, the wife made the best quail I've ever had. She took 6 quail and stuffed their little bodies with chopped green peppers and onions, wrapped them in bacon, and put them in the oven for about 10 minutes (till the bacon was browned) at 450. Meanwhile, she sauteed more peppers and onions in butter. Then she turned the oven down to 300, poured the onions and peppers over the quail, and covered it and baked another 30 minutes. She served them on a bed of rice, and I'm here to tell you, that was some good eating!
