I'm new to BYC and to having chickens. Thought I would let the kids enjoy this experience (and me too). I have built my coop to hold 8-10 egg layers and built a 14'x10' run out of PVC for them. All that is left is to get the chickens themselves. The Tractor Supply near me is having a chicken swap this weekend so by Saturday afternoon I should be good to go. Take care.

Glad to have you join us. Congratulations on your new coop and run ... will be fun to have chickens and I'm sure your family will enjoy them.
