I'm new to BYC and to having chickens. Thought I would let the kids enjoy this experience (and me too). I have built my coop to hold 8-10 egg layers and built a 14'x10' run out of PVC for them. All that is left is to get the chickens themselves. The Tractor Supply near me is having a chicken swap this weekend so by Saturday afternoon I should be good to go. Take care.
