I don't know what wooley bears are, (well, unless they are actual bears...lol) but I've seen a bunch of wooley worms here where I live....all of them black as coal.

Going back to my hidey hole to burrow under my quilts....still sick as heck...

Wooly bears, wooly worms - same difference. The banded ones are supposed to be able to predict the weather; the solid black or red ones are completely different species.

But geez, doodle, sorry to hear that you're still sick. I was really hoping to hear that you were on the mend by now. Take care of yourself!

Hey, 1d3, get better! Too early for wooly bear 'migration'. In another month they will be all over the place looking for a safe place to overwinter.

1d3, how ya doin.? Hopin' you feel better. Up here the lemming like wooly bear migration starts sometime after the first frost. That's when you will see them scurrying everywhere.
