I remember those days. Many a young man I terrified when my daughter was dating. Most were bigger than me. Why the fear? Think it was the gun I was constantly oiling?

Actually, I think they all arrived forewarned by my daughter. I do know when she brought the son in law 'to be' home, she begged me to behave. "Daddy, this one is different. Please behave and don't embarass him." Glad I heeded her plea - he's a goodun. They are rapidly approaching their 20th anniversary.
