HAAALPP, what is going on with my 7 month old buff Violet.
Symptoms:
-She is pooping green diarrhea, about a week now but thought it was just from eating greens.
-a little bit lethargic, sleeping often
-not wanting to eat her crumbles (but will pick at hard boiled egg yolk)
-still drinking a lot
-her comb fluctuates from pale pink to red.
-Crop feels empty and making gurgling noises when she does drink.
-liquid came out of her mouth when she bent down
-she is losing weight

She has not started laying yet, at least I can’t find any eggs anywhere, not really free rangers so can’t hide them.

What I have done over last few weeks:
-Dewormed with safeguard (I deworm every so often due to confirmed roundworms in our soil)

What I have tried over last few days
-epsom salt bath incase she’s egg bound, although not laying yet
-tetracycline and doxycycline mix
-tons of probiotics, plain yogurt
-corid (edit to add that she has been on corid last 2 days).

She was not vaccinated for mareks but I believe she was exposed at the farm she was hatched at (I was obviously not aware of this at the time). I believe her rooster brother died from mareks a few months ago, although not clinically confirmed). Vi has never showed any symptoms though.

She is our favorite.

What do you feed including treats?

Do check to make sure her crop is emptying overnight, if it's not, then begin treating that according to this article. https://www.backyardchickens.com/ar...w-to-know-which-one-youre-dealing-with.73607/

Encourage her to eat her normal feed.
What dose of Safeguard and how many days?
Don't add anything extra vitamins or supplements that contain B1 (Thiamine) to her feed or water if you are treating with Corid.

looks like her system pH level is pretty high look at that Yellow urates and green fecal matter that becomes deep green. Must be water issue i notice this issue once when my water pH level is 4-5 once it become 6-7 it's all good

In this case what I've got is something that contains
Yeast - Probiotics - Prebiotics & Enzymes

Thank you for this. Her crop was squishy this AM but empty. I did notice a distinct smell from her head area. I am going to begin treating with oral nystatin. I feed her mixture of organic layer crumbles and scratch and peck layer feed. Treats: mealworms, and occasionally eggs, spinach, oats. Safeguard was dosed for 3 days about three weeks ago - i forget exact dosage now but it was very small.

Squishy but empty and an odor? I'd begin treating for Sour Crop as suggested in the article.
Nystatin is good if you have it on hand.

Safeguard dose is 0.23ml per pound of weight given orally once, then repeated in 10 days to treat Roundworms Only.

Safeguard dose is 0.23ml per pound of weight given orally once a day for 5 days in row to treat most worms found in poultry including Roundworms but excluding Tapeworms.
