We have an Easter egger that lays green rough sided eggs that have these green dots on the inside. Is that normal? We haven't been eating the eggs as we dont know if the egg is safe.

I didn't feel them, but I will do that. They are only in the green eggs that have a sandy shell. The birds are 2 years old.

The sandy shell is what leads me to believe the 'dots' inside are excess calcium.

Probably won't hurt you to cook and eat them but might feel a bit 'gritty' to the tooth.....
.....might be able to feel it better in the mouth than with the fingers,
but I know I wouldn't care to put raw egg white in my mouth haha.
