Green duck eggs.

Our Little magpie ducks will be laying green eggs in a few months, so I figure that some wild mallard variety lays green eggs!

The little quaker is just about to hatch. Hes still peeping along with the gosling's.

Was this an abandoned nest? You said the bird was about to hatch when you found it. Where are the parents?

No, the egg was on a boat. Also, its about to hatch now. I found it like 3 weeks ago.

GUYSSS!!! The egg is now cracking! I think its a blue heron egg :O
I mean all my duck eggs cheaped like ducks. This is a silent chick. Its still alive cause you can hear it breaking away. I WILLL add pictures around 3 or so.

wow a Blue Heron egg? I'd love to see that, but I thought they'd lay bigger eggs too, being so big themselves.
