I was thinking this too..

Get a F1 male with one copy of The blue egg mutation(he would be sired by the Araucana and a Hyline Brown hen) and have him run with both, White and Brown eggers, that why his daughters will be, light green/blue, Tinted, Brown and Green.

I used to sell eggs and I would include blue, olive, light brown, dark brown, red, white, and tiny cream ones.
I found that when I gave them to neighbors or friends as gifts, they always preferred the assortments with 3-4 colored ones to denote rarity.

That shade of blue is beautiful. I voted for blue as I think its a little more unique than the green, but I would be thrilled to purchase both egg colors. I agree that half and half is ideal, and you can mess with shades by mixing some blue layer into the green genetics or vice versa down the line. Such an exciting project!

I’m very partial to the green. Maybe because I think of it as a rarity (having had Ameraucanas but only one true olive layer and I have a pale green layer.)
In my opinion, the rich green color is unmatched by pale blue. I am sorry I lost the olive layer because I loved her eggs best of all. To me, blue seems more common because there are purebred blue layers, but no green. (I am of course, biased, to me, unless it is a very rich shade, blue is my least favorite color. I like jewel tones. It just seems washed out and overused. 25 percent of my phone apps are blue!
