I know. Would you pay a premium for them? Most of people like the color but end up buying the regular store white ones due to the difficult times we are in.Those are just beautiful, Nic!
This sounds like not accepting the results of your own poll.
Blue eggs in a commercial setting (meaning sold in a grocery store) are more likely to be accepted than Maran brown or green.
I have my own source of colored eggs. I get green, brown, dark (chocolate) and lightly tinted eggs. I would love to get some of the beautiful blue ones in your pictures. I'm thinking of ordering some Cream Legbars next time I have room in my flock. I might pay a premium for the eggs if I bought eggs. My eggs may actually cost me more than the $3 to $6 the grocery store charges, but I'll do without rather than pay those prices for such insipid tasting nasty things, lol.I know. Surprisingly enough, my “Ameraucana” from McMurray looks like a true splash, and lays a robins egg blue egg! It was a fantastic surprise, and I almost kept one of the farm Legbars in her place. She is sooo sweet and gentle, I’m glad it turned out the way it did! Still wondering how the floofy Legbar would be in my backyard…named her Paprika.I have my own source of colored eggs.
