Green Eyed Jurassic Monster Chicks.

She looks ALMOST pretty....sort of delicate, and colours easy on the eye. Yes, I can say it...ATTRACTIVE! How old is she in the pic.?

I had not particularly intended for my (rather large) Blue Partridge Brahma boy with the strange green eyes to mate with the NNs, but his blood is 50% testosterone at the moment, so he mates with anything which moves (and quite a lot which doesn't e.g the dog's toys).

It is the sheer size as well as the 'interesting' look which amazes me....legs like tree trunks, heavy and solid.......bantam size at just under 8 weeks. There again, we are not on piped water......our water emanates from between rocks and is bluish tinged.....probably radioactive!

I'm SO enjoying seeing pictures of other folks 'projects', be they genuine, or, like mine due to irrepressible young 'men'

Exactly what is going on here! My turken roo - Impy, 11 months old - is suffering from a near fatal case of testosterone poisoining! When one of my SFs went broody I put what I thought were pure brahma eggs + one EE egg under her. Sally and her two hatchmates, a brahma and the turken/EE hatched out.

Sally is about 4 weeks old in that pic. I really wanted to get some more pics of her yesterday, she's developing into such a beautiful bird, but we were extremely busy with coop work. As we were working I heard one of my older, very large brahma girls screaming so of course I went to investigate. It was just Impy trying his best to mate her. She was not at all happy about the situation. Impy is taking advantage of the fact that my older brahma roo is now lame with a bad leg.
